You need m4 to process the assembler sources. The default target of
make will build .bin files of the assembler sources with the as31
assembler. You can get the as31 with the DMX4Linux package:
http://llg.cubic.org/dmx4linux.

If you want to use a different assembler make .asm files with
"make asm"

You should use the dmx_mini firmware.

The "dmx_maxi" firmware is used by an interface with external RAM
(XRAM) to store the dmx-values. The current schems and pcbs are not
updated for this interface, we will provide this in the future.
