1 Background of Modifications

Due to VE activities purpose, DVD Module (2) P.C.B has been changed. Main change would be the implementation of 64 MB SDRAM instead of the 128MB SDRAM (original design) and other circuitries modifications.

This supplement is to illustrate the difference between the original and the new DVD Module (2) P.C.B.

Due to running change for the implementation of the DVD Module (2) P.C.B, some new units may have been using the new P.C.B while other earlier units is manufactured under the original condition.

Note: Special care & attention has to be carried out for technician/servicemen to identify the differences especially in case of troubleshooting and replacement of individual parts. This is mainly because some parts such asintegrated circuits (IC’S) are not compatible and cannot be interchangeable.

Below is a table to identify the use of new & old DVD Module (2) P.C.B.
